I’m a wedding photographer based in Ontario, with a heart for storytelling. I recently got married in August of 2022, and came out of the experience with not only one of the most incredibly memorable days of my life, but also with a whole WHACK of intimate knowledge about planning a dream wedding. So, when I tell you I can relate to what you’re going through in your own process, I really do mean it hahah.
It wasn’t until I found photography, that I truly felt I was doing the right thing. Not only for myself, but for other people. Making memories, creating experiences, really reaching out and beckoning those stories forward — this is what I was meant to do. This is why our paths have crossed. Let’s romanticise the fuck out of the everyday. Make the mundane feel like a scene from your favourite movie. Now more than ever I feel it’s important to create space for the extraordinary moments, as each one unfolds within its own extraordinary story.
By focusing on the storytelling aspects of your day, your session, or even just a single photo, it allows you to just exist within the moment. From beginning, middle, to end. Know that your story is unfolding naturally with you, and trust the process. Let’s stop worrying about the minute details. Enjoy each moment as it passes by. Give your story space to be whatever it is that it will be. And know that, when we come to the end, each of these moments will come together to create a beautiful, much larger, more extraordinary story than you could imagine.
